The instructions are always available through the Burghound.com site. Just go to the navigation menu item Member Info/Log-In > Database User Instructions.
Three important notes:
- You must always LOG OUT of the Database, including on your mobile device. You can only be logged in to one device at a time. If you don’t logout, you can’t log back in for one hour. (If someone has your login credentials and is logged in to your account, you may be logged out indefinitely. Access to Burghound content is only for the subscriber.
- There is no timeout for the Database. You can stay logged in on one device, as long as your browser is set to work properly with cookies. However, keep in mind security controls on each browser differ so it will not be an indefinite log-in. For browser setting info click here.
- Clearing cookies. Occasionally you can log in to the Journals/Issues website and not the Database website – or vice versa (two separate websites accessed with the same login credentials). If you have verified your subscription has not expired, you just have to clear cookies from your browser. For info on clearing cookies click here. To find your expiration date, go to www.burghound.com and choose Member Info/Login > Edit My Profile.
Important note to subscribers:
If you are not receiving our quarterly issue release emails via iContact, which is the messaging system we use to reach all subscribers simultaneously, please whitelist* the following domains: icpbounce.com, app.icontact.com and icontact.com
If you use gmail, our emails may be sent to your “promotions” tab. So please be sure to be aware of this, and drag them into your “primary” inbox.
